As a key member of our team, the Finance and Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our finance and operational activities. This role bridges financial oversight with operational efficiency, supporting our internal finance team and broader business functions. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing diverse responsibilities across finance, commercial operations, and general business operations.

This role will be based at our Headquarters, in Abingdon, UK. There may be occasional travel required to visit our company offices in Singapore, Taiwan and USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Manager with financial operations, including processing payments, tracking customer and supplier payments, and generating weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist in revenue operations by working closely with the Executive team, US Head of Commercial Operations, and UK Head of Business Development to monitor sales-related data capture and performance.
- Undertake a broad spectrum of operational tasks including liaison with legal, insurance, IP and trademarking specialists, drafting and issueing contracts, NDAs, and other key business documents.
- Oversee order fulfillment workflows to maintain efficiency in business operations.
- Support inventory tracking, production oversight, and people operations activities as needed.
- Provide key operational insights and reporting to the Executive team.
- Playing a full and collegiate role in upholding and promoting the values of the company.
Essential Requirements
- Strong financial acumen with experience in finance operations, reporting, and revenue management.
- Proven experience in business operations, including legal, contracts, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to adapt quickly, problem-solve, and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization
Desirable Requirements
- Financial qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in finance roles.
- Previous experience in SME, startup, or high-growth business environments.
- Familiarity with any of the following: sales operations, commercial data, tracking, production and inventory management
- Exposure to international business operations, including financial and legal considerations.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.

- A typical candidate will be in office a minimum of 4 days per week or as required to work with our talented team.
- Occasional international travel.
