There is an opening within Evox Therapeutics for a generalist office administrator. The successful candidate would be responsible for various administrative tasks, including but not limited to booking travel arrangements for senior leadership, arranging internal and external training days/meetings as well as arranging refreshments where needed. The Office Administrator will work directly within the Operations team, whilst supporting the People and Culture team and the CEO.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external companies to organise refreshments large and/or external meetings.
- Co-ordinate taxis for external visitors when required.
- Collaborate with the Company Travel Agent and use the Corporate Traveller system to arrange travel for all employees.
- Purchase goods and services using the company purchasing system (Amici) and following established purchasing policies.
- Manage conference bookings and colleagues’ attendance at awards functions.
- Order and maintain levels of office supplies and refreshments.
- Support the administration of Health and Safety processes as required, including the organisation of training and scheduling machine maintenance.
- Attend to the Reception, welcoming visitors, receiving parcels and answering the phone
- Co-ordinate the administration of the Private Health, Life Assurance and any other benefits platforms.
- Administrate the HR Information and applicant tracking systems, taking full responsibility for maintenance and updating as appropriate.
- Administrate the monthly payroll, in collaboration with the Finance department.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including the delivery of the HR induction.
- Support the CEO with diary management and ad hoc requests.

- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and will be happy to roll up their sleeves and assist with a variety of duties and be fully flexible in their approach to work.

- Be Highly organised
- Be self-sufficient and with a meticulous attention to detail,
- Have excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
Experience & knowledge
Essential:
- Demonstrable administrative experience
- Good understanding the Microsoft Office package
- Office based experience
- Proven experience implementing and improving administrative processes
- Able to work on own initiative, but also to seek guidance/refer upwards where necessary
Desirable:
- Experience within the biotech industry
- Experience using the Corporate Traveller system
