We build and operate automated factories for composite materials, delivering components to Tier 1 and OEMs. The business has 3 main divisions that focus on the development of automated production machines, development of software design and production tools and lastly the operation of the factory.
Now working with >25 customers (multiple leading OEMs) and earlier this year we completed the largest ever Series A in composites manufacturing (link) to fuel a significant scale-up with growth plans that will see the business multiply in size over the next 2-3 years and expand operations into Europe and the US.
The business currently has facilities in Gloucester UK (Factory 1), Bristol UK (Hardware R&D Centre) and in Athens GR (Software R&D Centre).

Are you a skilled Project Manager ready to drive cutting-edge projects in the advanced composites industry? iCOMAT is looking for a proactive, organized, and results-oriented Project Manager to support and lead high-impact projects that push the boundaries of lightweight composite technology.
With our focus on innovation in industries like automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy, this role is essential to delivering our ambitious goals on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
What will you be doing?
· Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, define milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
· Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring high-quality standards.
· Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
· Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and adapt to changes swiftly to keep projects on track.
· Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes, provide insights for future projects, and contribute to iCOMAT’s culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What do we need from you?
· Experience: Proven project manager experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment, ideally within the composites or materials science industry. Technical experience is desired but not required.
· Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Certifications: PMP or Prince2 certification is desired but not required.
· Mindset: A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
